National Information Exchange Model with Layer 7 Gateways

Share information in a timely, secure manner, across all branches of government

Share information in a timely, secure manner, across all branches of government

The National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) was launched in 2005 for the purpose of developing, disseminating and supporting information sharing standards and processes across all branches of the US government, including justice, public safety, disaster management, intelligence and homeland security.

Layer 7’s products are directly applicable to the standards and processes for timely, secure information sharing outlined by NIEM. Specifically, Layer 7 Gateways enable robust NIEM integration between services and consumers. Layer 7 facilitates compliance with NIEM mandates for rapid information sharing across domains and communities of interest.
