Closing Remarks |

Praveen Muppidi, IT Program Manager at Cisco, has been working with Cisco for past 5 years in Data & Integration Space using different products like TIBCO, Oracle, Cisco - ACE XML Gateways and Layer 7. Praveen has successfully delivered major platform builds in Virtual Data Center and also build these platforms in Disaster Recovery. Prior to Cisco, Praveen worked at Levi Strauss & Company as Project Manager, Lead Technical Architect in Integration space for AS2 and B2B/EAI Integrations using Cyclone Commerce, Sterling Commerce Products.

Greg Olsen has been involved in data integrations in the Silicon Valley for almost 20 years. He has worked at companies like Vanstar, Hewlett-Packard, Contivo, SanDisk, and Adobe Systems where he is currently the Manager of Data Integrations. He has a passion for the domain since without integrations, companies would be at the mercy of direct file transfers which get messy quickly.
At Adobe, Greg and his team have implemented SAP XI/PI, TIBCO EMS and TIBCO BW, and Layer 7. We have seen tremendous growth in the integrations domain with a strong push to use the tools for more than just “data integrations”, but as a way to enforce data security standards. Layer 7 plays a critical role in the enforcement of our security standards both now and into the future.

Rag Ramanathan is director of product management for APIs at Savvis, where he is responsible for defining and launching the API program for Savvis’ cloud-related services. His role is to ensure common governance and security for internal and external APIs, and make clients and partners successful with APIs.
Prior to joining Savvis, Rag held product leadership roles at start-up companies such as Mitia and Apigee (Sonoa), and large companies like Dun and Bradstreet (Purisma) and BEA Systems (Oracle), where he successfully launched and deployed enterprise products and client solutions.
Rag holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada, and a master’s degree in software engineering from San Jose State University.
