Layer 7 Technologies CTO Scott Morrison edited the Web Services Interoperability (WS-I) Basic Security Profile. Layer 7 is the only independent XML Gateway vendor to have participated in the WS-I BSP 1.0 and 1.1 interops.
Layer 7 Technologies helped edit the WS- Policy specification for the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Layer 7 was the only XML Gateway to have participated in the WS-Policy interop sponsored by the W3C.
Layer 7 co-authored numerous OASIS WS8 standards including WS-Trust, WS-Federation and WS-SecureConversaton. OASIS is a non-profit international consortium that produces standards for Web services, security, e-business, and public and private-sector standardization efforts.
